Meet the Team
Executive Director
Erik Dickover
It is an honor to serve as the Executive Director of the Mayes Emergency Services Trust Authority. Born and raised in Indiana, I come from a family where community service runs deep. After serving in the United States Army, I committed my career to helping others and protecting the communities I serve.
My public safety journey began as a 911 dispatcher and call taker for the Broken Arrow Police and Fire Departments. That experience sparked a passion for emergency medicine and led me to become a paramedic. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving with EMSA, Mercy, and Air Evac. It was during my time as a flight paramedic that I developed a strong connection to the residents and first responders of Mayes County.
In February 2024, I joined MESTA as Operations Manager, a role that prepared me for the opportunity to step into the position of Executive Director in October 2024. In this role, I am dedicated not only to serving the citizens of Mayes County, but also to leading and supporting the professionals who provide care every day.
I currently live in Claremore with my wife, Nicole, and our five children. With the support of both my home family and my MESTA family, I am committed to building an agency that delivers exceptional care, professionalism, and service. Our team remains focused on ensuring that Mayes County residents and visitors receive the highest standard of emergency medical care, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the community.
